So what devotions or Catholic practices does the Church tell us, knock, calls us to perform?

I would say, you know, the foremost is, you know, to pray for the souls in purgatory.

I see that one every day.

You know, I love that St. Gertrude prayer that says, you know, we can release a thousand souls.

And so I think that's really important.

At every Mass, you know, we, in the liturgy, they put in, you know, to pray for the souls in purgatory.

And so...

What surprised you the most?

So what do you think the story means in Knock? Why is it important? What's the message of Knock in this silent apparition? Yeah.

And you, that's a beautiful point.

I never heard that with the St. Joseph and St. John.

And I think too, you know, there's a couple, there's so many themes.

It's like, you know, I see the theme of, again, this, this, this suffering element, you know, the Irish people just with, you know, as father, as we, as you mentioned, uh you know the father cavanaugh was the parish priest at the time was celebrating like 100 masses and on that 100th last day of the mass you know that's when our lady came and he was doing those masses for there's like a i think it was close to a million irish people that died in those in the famines there's a famine before this one happened in 1879 i forget what year it was maybe you know it was i think it was the 1830s or so somewhere the first major potato famine and you know, and then the British were ruling and basically people were offered, you know, they were given the choice, like you renounce your faith and we'll feed you.

Right.

um and so i know that so so some of these witnesses but but yeah tell us about the witnesses yeah
