... uh, Pat Maroon.
Mark RileyHOST
1:36
Pat Maroon will be there.
Mark RileyHOST
1:37
He's one of the NHL alumni playing in the tournament, so very excited to meet him, and maybe ask him to come on.
Geno Binda Jr.HOST
1:44
That'd be awesome.
John ShannonHOST
23:29
So I used to do a ton of work in Edmonton, ton of work, St. Louis, whatever.
John ShannonHOST
23:35
And I always thought Pat Maroon was the big rig.
John ShannonHOST
23:38
And now you're the big rig.
John ShannonHOST
23:40
And did you ever talk to Maroon and say, who decided gets to be the big rig on certain days?
Tom FranklinHOST
45:59
We are, we are, we are, we're absolutely doing what we need to do to get those numbers up.
Tom FranklinHOST
46:03
Cause like sometimes like hockey is a popular example where you may have a, like a, like a middle six forward, just all of a sudden go off and, you know, like, like Pat Maroon a few years ago, like with Edmonton.
Tom FranklinHOST
46:17
where he just dropped 30 goals in a season, of course.
Tom FranklinHOST
46:20
There's reasons for that.
ChandlerHOST
43:36
... my next pick.
ChandlerHOST
43:39
And then I'm going to follow that up with, okay, I mean, like he's skill-wise not the best player, but, I mean, how can you not love the man, the Big Rig himself, Pat Maroon?
KeegsHOST
43:56
Nice.
KeegsHOST
43:59
When you said that, the first part, I thought you were gonna take the guy that I am gonna take right now, and that is the Pancake Man himself, Dustin Penner.
KeegsHOST
46:54
Yeah, fair enough.
ChandlerHOST
46:56
Yep.
ChandlerHOST
46:57
Uh, well, to summarize, Team Bing we have Corey Perry, Doug Weight, Pat Maroon, Chris Pronger, Lubomir Visnovsky, and Ron Tugnutt.

Happy birthday to Michael Nylander, who played in 35 games from 1998 to 2000.
Andy StricklandHOST
27:01
They've got the broadcasting boot camp in the summertime where, you know, I don't know if you ever participated in that or not, but, you know, a lot of former players go every year.
Andy StricklandHOST
27:10
I mean, Eric Johnson, Reaver, Pam Jansen was there, Pat Maroon, a bunch of guys I know that went to it this past summer.
Andy StricklandHOST
27:16
Sean Dursey, apparently, was like the breakout star, you know, who... you know, obviously can still play several more years.
Andy StricklandHOST
27:23
But I think just from going to that, he's going to have an opportunity to get involved in broadcasting.
Donovan PaulsonHOST
6:26
He's got another assist in there.
Donovan PaulsonHOST
6:29
I'm not going to give you a full point total thing, but I will give you, simply put, if Pat Maroon can score 27
Andrew WalkerHOST
6:36
goals,
Donovan PaulsonHOST
6:37
Vasily Podkolzin can score 30.
Marco D'AmicoHOST
3:18
Was there contact from any one of them that stood out the most to you in terms of the current St. Louis Blues players?
Tynan LawrenceGUEST
3:26
um there's quite a bit i mean holloway was a big one bennington um a couple former players like you know pat maroon was my coach when i was in muskegon at the first half of the year so pretty you know pretty pretty kind of cool too because he played there when i copped there he was a big part of that team and then same thing yeah yeah exactly same thing with uh jake allen he played in st louis for the longest time was the backup for bennington and he was you know from the same place i'm from actually exactly you know i'd shoot on it i'd shoot on in the summers like all summer i'd go out shoot them once or twice a week and then you know being drafted the you know place like that just talking to him about it just like yeah it's like a underrated place like everyone loves it there everyone's kind of one of those places where you know you can even after hockey a lot of guys still retire there because they love the city so much just being able to kind of share that experience and him saying like yeah like you're gonna love it like Just having that experience, like personal, personal kind of, you know, contact with him was, you know, an unbelievable thing too.
Marco D'AmicoHOST
4:25
Yeah, it's almost disappointing for Jake Allen because wasn't the next team picking New Jersey?
Tynan LawrenceGUEST
4:31
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Mark RileyHOST
0:34
Last week's was great, too.
Mark RileyHOST
