again, when we do our live, maybe that's when we erect a statue of the family.
Stacy KeananHOST
16:17
We put a statue of Pat in bronze, a six and a half foot tall Patrick Duffy in bronze in a tiny little spaghetti strap tank and a mini mini boxer looking ripped as hell.
Stacy KeananHOST

It's like they're Rocky.

BrianGUEST

Here's what you learn about most celebrities is they can only do the thing that they do.
BrianGUEST
5:40
So to have them at a celebrity thing, basically they're paid to just walk around and like answer questions about whatever show they were on back in the eighties, like Patrick Duffy did.
BrianGUEST
5:54
But yeah, but they needed something.
BrianGUEST
5:57
So they hired me and I used to make fun of the guy that was hosting the, uh, the charity event in my act.
Sam PanicoHOST
23:05
My friends are the TV.
Sam PanicoHOST
23:07
And oh my God, Patrick Duffy as a merman.
Sam PanicoHOST
23:12
Kendra, I'm not the only one, Adam, because Kendra made an entire line of toys and the show got canceled five episodes in and they're like, what do we do with these? And they never brought them out.
Sam PanicoHOST
23:21
Do you know how much I want a Man from Atlantis action figure set?
Beverly MitchellGUEST
13:00
Right.
Beverly MitchellGUEST
13:00
You know, like we had Christy McNichol, like we we Patrick Duffy.
Beverly MitchellGUEST
13:06
We had like all these amazing characters.
Beverly MitchellGUEST
13:09
stars.

Beverly MitchellGUEST

And everyone had their stardom in their own right and in their own way.
Beverly MitchellGUEST
18:42
And we all...
Beverly MitchellGUEST
18:44
It was actually funny because I saw Patrick Duffy at a con.
Beverly MitchellGUEST
18:49
And I reminded him that we had done this movie.
Jason MarsdenGUEST
38:18
She was lovely.
Jason MarsdenGUEST
38:19
Patrick Duffy is amazing.
Jason MarsdenGUEST
38:22
He directed a lot of the episodes.
Jason MarsdenGUEST
38:24
Um, and he was very, uh, giving with, uh, with advice and, and life experience.
SteveHOST
48:40
what are you talking about the show Dallas no no no where it ended and it was like a dream
MattHOST
48:45
no it's Patrick Duffy in the shower it's a girl she's in the shower and it's one last jump scare she sees in the mirror it's like not real though but if they because there's a second one and they like make it not real I can't think of it we've covered I can't remember what it is though but yeah to just have it and like how it does in the film where he's just you don't know and he's just reaching for the mirror I think that's perfect because it leaves the ambiguity yeah
SteveHOST
49:10
great ending like i said like i definitely think this is a flawed film maybe the characters we could have gotten to know some of them a bit more you know this movie is kind of lacking an emotional connection but i just i just love the themes and how they're exploring certain things that we don't usually see in film and like that combination i said of like kind of like a smart horror film and also like a little cheesy and dumb like i like i kind of like that combination it's kind of fun Like I said, it's vibes.
SteveHOST
49:38
This is just a good movie.
Linda PurlGUEST
47:49
Mm-hmm
Steve KmetkoHOST
47:49
... and you can tell me to back off whenever you want to, uh, with Patrick Duffy.
Linda PurlGUEST
47:53
Back off, Steve.
Steve KmetkoHOST
47:54
[laughs] With Patrick Duffy.
Linda PurlGUEST
47:55
Yes.
Linda PurlGUEST
47:56
Isn't that funny? Well-
speaker_4HOST
4:42
And yet, from a production lens, the nerve is breathtaking.
speaker_4HOST
4:46
Patrick Duffy wanted back, ratings sagged without him, and they chose the wildest fix on the board.
speaker_3HOST
4:52
But the bill is permanent credibility damage.
speaker_3HOST
4:55
After that, when someone dies, you don't feel loss first.
Jenn AdamsHOST
25:04
And what's your story with Stacey Keenan?
Steven Ray MorrisGUEST
25:06
Well, I, so, I mean, I think Step by Step was my favorite TF show growing up because, you know, having a, you know, divorce and because, again, like, I didn't know this until I started working on Keen and lincoln but you know on brady bunch they didn't you know the the other parents you know the other original parents like died or you know went to war and disappeared forever like the idea of somebody getting divorced was you know so scandalous like so then when they were coming up with this show in the early 90s with um i'm not i'm not i don't remember 100 sure If it was going to be like having Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Somers who started it in mind, but it was just this idea of doing a Brady Bunch for the modern era.
Steven Ray MorrisGUEST
25:52
And, you know, the idea that like, you know, divorce and widow or whatever, and they come together.
Steven Ray MorrisGUEST
25:58
But since my parents split up like around the time the show started, I always found that the most relatable, just like how all the Jurassic Park movies have divorce in them.

Steven Ray MorrisGUEST
125:27

Steven Ray MorrisGUEST
125:29
Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Somers are hot, and they're hot for each other, and they're horny for each other the whole time.
Steven Ray MorrisGUEST
125:36
And that is, like, really sweet to see that something like that existed then, instead of the, like, my old ball and chain.
Len WebbHOST
19:35
didn't like a
Vincent WilliamsHOST
