So Dragapult without Monkey Dory, like, that's been a while since we've seen that.

Instead, he's playing the Patrat so that his opponents can't go Adrena Brain and knock him out, so...

I thought Henry was going to win this tournament after I saw him topdeck that boss against Jackson.

And he just kind of said, hey, let's streamline this.

And there are a lot of pulse like high on my radar as well.

Going into worlds was Paul with Patrat.

And like if you're playing Patrat, normally some of the other guys are playing Patrat with monkey and you just kind of pick and choose when you wanted to put it down.

Both this Alakazam Dusknoir list and Henry Chow's Dusknoir Dragapult list.

Both of those using the Patrat to get around the Monkey Dory as well as any other... primarily the Monkey Dory, but it's just so

clean.

Being able to play around Red Card and Unfair Stamp in such a creative way without having to sacrifice the tempo that something like an Airy would.

I think we're just going to see that same hierarchy that we've been seeing.

I'd be shocked if it changed up too, too much.

But maybe with some of the innovations for the Dusknoir variant, seeing Patrat and stuff like that coming into the list instead of the Monkey Dory being able to... like shore up some of the energy issues with the deck and uh really commit to those slots in space to consistency instead of to uh flexibility maybe we'll see a a steeper uptick in those dust nor lists going into baltimore as well than even we saw at worlds

Man, that's a really difficult conversation specifically because you'd never really know if you're going to step into a field that consists mostly of dust snore flavored things, monkey dory flavored things, or like ogre pond bench night flavored things.

So it's always hard to know if you're going to pack the duck shaman Pat Patrat, or if you have space for both, is that going to free you up enough to do stuff? I am personally in the camp of feeling like Yveltal is the card to watch the most this weekend.

Not because every deck can play it, but every deck that can't play it falters to not being able to retreat.

So that's really something that needs to be kept on the back burner.

So we were expecting a little bit more because, right, they expanded, like, NA by 10 slots.

I still don't know the exact, like, you know, list because obviously there's auto qualifiers, right, which they kind of expanded down if you got, like, top.

ford and ic i think it was an automatical automatic place i'm pretty sure then if you want like a special event you got automatic that type of thing um so it just it kind of goes in because well the i don't want to say the meta is wide is because it literally the data has shown us over the last worlds it gets super narrow and super condensed around the top decks uh so we talked about a couple couple weeks ago right grant manley's like kind of preview of you know he's like well I expect Dragon Ball to be right near 50% total right with all the archetypes and that just leads into having a counter box which were one NAIC and then what counters the counter box? Crosshole basically counters a lot of that like Marnie's Grimmsnarl with Gwen right because you have the fourth stadium you play a lot of Pokemon like you're able to draw a whole bunch of cards which is Grimmsnarl's biggest fault right it's never been able to draw cards so it's just like one of those where I feel like I don't want to say tech decks, but it's like you can fit in a Patrat or like to me, Shaman is definitely on the list, right? Because Slowpoke, we saw top four.
