Hmm.
17:28
Um, and I think that techniques, um, a- as taught by all of these guys, there are reproducible things, but then there are certainly judgments.
17:39
For example, is my femur sufficiently released? Do I have a good enough exposure and elevation to approach and prepare this safely? And this took, you know, my first 100 cases probably weren't, uh, you know, as flick, or my femoral, um, exposure wasn't as good.
17:59
You get judgment from your experience, but then also seeing the little tricks or the kinda internal rules that some of these surgeons had.
18:08
Like, is this released enough? If I can do it with, you know, by hand and with my over-the-top retractor and come up and out easily, like it almost dislocates, then I'm released enough.
18:19
And so adding their judgment into mine, I think helped make that portion of the case, just for example, go better for me.

Hmm.

And they both took at least a half an hour to actually go through and talk through and look at my X-rays and kinda give me their thoughts and their plan, um, which, uh, was extremely helpful, um, for going back and doing these cases.
