The poster for Pat and Mike is one of those... grossly misleading posters.

Because I don't know whose legs those are on the poster, but those are not her

legs.

But that doesn't mean, though, that what a person who's 21 years old or a 15-year-old or a 12-year-old is seeing, uh, The Philadelphia Story or Sylvia Scarlett or Mogambo or The Barefoot Contessa is gonna have the same impression that we had, me s- speaking, I'm 62, than I had back in 1952 when I saw, or '53 when I saw Barefoot Contessa or '52 when I saw Mogambo or, or when I saw, uh, Katharine Hepburn pl- uh, working in, uh, at the present.

In other words, in, in, in its, in its context, Pat and Mike with Sp- Spencer Tracy, uh, The African Queen with Humphrey Bogart, and then going back on seeing her older films on television and all that.

So I, I didn't know even then when I saw her older films that during the '30s she was considered, quote, unquote, "box office poison" after having won an Academy Award.
