Pasadena

From the Fort Bend County Bureau, I'm Melissa Nahe, News 8870.

In the city of Pasadena's mayor, Thomas Shanebott, told officers to escort a city council member out of the chambers last night following discussions over a proposed pay raise for city employees.

Councilwoman Bianca Valeria was forcibly taken out of the meeting by authorities after a public comment discussion over the 6% cost of living adjustment proposal.

The dispute occurred after the council member accused the mayor of recruiting one of the public speakers to come out against Valeria.

And as I write this, the news which is on the TV from a major network is stating that a man burst into a church in Pasadena, Texas and started shooting, killing what the news reporters say, four people now, and killing himself.

Just 15 miles away in Pasadena, Texas, 14-year-old Regina K. Walters was running away with her new boyfriend.

Her parents were divorced, and Regina usually stayed with her father in

Houston.

No one had heard from the girl.

The distraught mother reported her daughter as a missing person to Pasadena, Texas police.

She spoke with a detective from the juvenile section, providing the officer with Regina's description.

And somehow, they too end up talking about how much cyanide it takes to kill someone.

The plan is dinner at Jimmy Bates' house in Pasadena, then the dads take the kids out together.

But by the time dinner's over, it's raining outside.

One of the Bates kids decides to stay home.

So I think it was David called earlier and asked where to get compost.

He's in Pasadena.

So, I mean, not too far, maybe.
