Partnership Act 1890

Because if you've got a properly drafted agreement in place, everyone knows what the rules are, should explain how everything operates.

So how do you make a decision? How do you share your profits and all the rest of it? And if you don't have one, how do you know how that works in practice? And even worse than that, if you don't have a written agreement at all, governed by the Partnership Act 1890.

So as you can imagine, it was not written with modern GP practices or modern practices in mind at all.

The rules are very, very old and they're not very flexible at all.
