[laughs] That, um, inciting incident is the start of Partita by Barbara Kingsolver.

Um, you may remember Barbara Kingsolver from a great number of books.

She just publishes hit after hit after hit, but most recently she published Demon Copperhead, which came out in 2022, won the 2023 Pulitzer Prize, and just, like, it was everywhere.

The scene work is immersive.

This is a story to get lost in, and if you love books like Heart the Lover by Lily King, I think you will love this one.

This is Partita by Barbara Kingsolver.
