Justin SpringhamHOST
Have you kind of, are you getting feedback from your customers, your operator customers in, in terms of what's working? What, what customers, what consumers are prepared to pay for and how often?

Parth TrivediGUEST
I think, Justin, um, y-you see you touched on some very important points here, um, one being the economics of it all, and frankly, our mandate was not to prevent a fragmentation of the market, but really to prevent a fragmentation of the user experience across different spectrum bands, across different satellites, uh, so that the end result is persistent background connectivity that you can take for granted.

Parth TrivediGUEST
And I would say that we have enabled, uh, a service that an operator can include in all of their plans for eligible devices, as you have seen with Verizon as an example in the US.

Parth TrivediGUEST
You have seen other monetization models evolve also, uh, such as what the European operators, uh, our, our partners and our customers are doing there.

Parth TrivediGUEST
I, I don't think there is a one-size-fits-all, um, mode here for how, uh, the end user gets access to satellite today.

Parth TrivediGUEST
But my, my view is that, uh, ultimately this will become a table stakes part of every network, and I don't think it's just for the sake of adding a, uh, adding a, a new service, et cetera.

So I, uh, uh, I always had the urge to, uh, get myself involved in and stay relevant and current, uh, on, on building, prototyping, um-Uh, o- on the engineering front.

Parth TrivediGUEST
And so there was a professor, uh, on, in this, uh, aerospace, uh, department, Dr. Andrew Kalman, um, who was one of the pioneers of the CubeSat.

Parth TrivediGUEST
I became the program manager for satellite mission that we were launching from Stanford, uh, under Andrew's guidance.

Parth TrivediGUEST
I realized that, uh, it's just extremely cumbersome and expensive and difficult to communicate, to establish just basic TTNC links with, uh, the satellites.

Parth TrivediGUEST
Um, and more so, it is combination of, uh, the protocols that we are using which are outdated, um, and not relevant in the cellular context.
