Part-time job

The overall statistics combine full-time and part-time contracts.

In Austria, almost half of women work Teilzeit, which drags the figure down substantially.

The traditional divide between categories also persists.

On average, Angestellte still earn noticeably more than Arbeiter.

[笑] 是的，在中国很多城市里，呃，年轻人白天上班，晚上才有属于自己的一点点时间，所以他们会用不同的方式来放松自己。

嗯，没错。但是一个小小的事情，打工人是在中国才会使用的。呃，对台湾人来说，所谓的打工是 part-time job 的意思。

哦。

所以我们听到打工是 like you're doing part-time job，但是在中国打工人意思其实就是工作上班的人，对吧？

是的，就是我们，啊，我，我不知道有没有，我们之前有没有讲，但是，呃，打工人类似于牛马，[笑] 就是只要是-

He didn't take off his spring semester.

You know? He stayed as an MBA stu-.

There are multiple differences.

那他的钱是从何而来呢？即以前看 Spider-Man 呢，都还会 deliver pizza 啊，做下记者啊，做下这个 part-time，那个 part-time。但这次呢，是没有见他工作的喔。

嗯。

那些钱在哪里来呢？交租都要的啊。 那么还有就是，他-他抓到那些人呢，那个，那个差婆和他讲嘛，说，啊，喂，你捞过界喔，跟着就，嘿，你们就是profe-- 就是专业的，我是业余的，那么-

That's nice.

Two part-time jobs make a whole.

Yeah, exactly.

I mean, I have to do different stuff throughout the day or I get bored.

Absolutely love that.

So, okay.

You have two part-time jobs.

You're working for Bill.

I'm guessing.

But one of them caught my eye, the ASA Monitor, just this past month had an article, the title was The Rise of the Part-Time Anesthesiologists, which was funny to me 'cause I was like this has been happening for a while actually.

And looking at the academics interact with this phenomenon kind of like they're looking at it like it's an animal in the zoo behind-
