Public Service Ombudsman

So you spoke there a bit about sort of the casework that we deal with and some of the kind of system failings, how those then are fed in.

And some of that we try to do, but we're also trying to do more of that through like the Parliamentary Ombudsman, for example, which as an organisation does a lot of kind of redress, but also they have a lot of powers to and essentially see where a government department has failed and tell them that, you know, they've got administrative problems or whatever they need to do to deal with that if it's not a policy issue.

And that system works quite well and we think there's quite good feedback from that.

And when it doesn't, there are routes of parliament to get involved.
