Parking lot

Stairs, Stufen.

A parking lot is an area where you can park your car temporarily.

It's often found near airports, hotels, and shopping centers.

Parking lot, Parkplatz.

A taxi is a hired vehicle that takes you from one place to another for a fare.

You call or hail it when you need quick transportation after a flight.

Speed limit, Limitsatz für Geschwindigkeit.

Parking lot is an area where cars can be parked for short or long periods, often found near shopping centers and businesses.

Toll gate is the point on a highway or bridge where you pay a fee to use the road, usually managed by toll collection booths.

Parking.

Traffic refers to all the vehicles moving on roads.

It can be heavy during rush hour or light when it's quiet.

I'm fine on this.

The thing that drives me crazy is when that guy is sitting there and he's taking up the entire lane in the parking lot.

And I can't get around him.

I'm quite happy to have him wait for the parking spot and, you know, do what he wants to do.

Before you explain your story, I mentioned that you were coming on, and we were going to talk about this, and somebody wrote in and said, if I get in my car and somebody starts honking at me to get out of the parking space, I get out, lay on the hood, and feed the birds.

not a bad response there's no violence in that

i mean i don't think anyone should be honking at somebody right for sure and it's a kind of become a kind of urban legend that people will stay in their car longer if they think someone's waiting for them and that goes back to a study back in 1997 And it was called Territorial Defense in Parking Lots, Retaliation Against Waiting Drivers, which more or less found that in the parking lot, when you're in your car, it triggers something that's called, I think, territorial defense behavior, which is this idea of securing space instinctively.

And that it triggered it.

Parking.

Parkplatz.

I was recently on the radio and got asked about this because some people are concerned that there is only one car park for every four apartments.
