yeah but no no it was pretty good and then other than that yeah just around the rink working doing all that stuff so we keep myself busy that's for sure trying to i get to the simulator a little bit more start to get my uh start to get my game in order before we get it before the weather gets warmer i know tonight it's supposed to get down to like minus 25 with the wind chill so i don't yeah yeah i don't think i'll be getting out golfing anytime soon but minus 25 yeah it's supposed to get pretty cold i'm supposed to get a storm too yeah we're supposed to get some snow as well i was kind of hoping for the cold with no snow so we could get the ponds frozen around here and get out skating don't have to shovel that's you know always nice but we're getting a lot of snow so we'll see if we're able to uh we'll see if we're able to get out at some point anyways so the we can talk about the steelheads quickly we're just gonna you know kind of go over just to the recent uh stretch of games here for the uh for the brampton steelheads and um of course you know they uh lose that last game again i guess we can start there let's start there with the berry game um drop that one four to one uh with uh against the berry colts

Yeah, I mean, that was the home debut for Macy Zabeski and Parker Von Richter in that game, right? That team's loaded.

It was a 5-1 loss for the Steelheads against the Battalion in that game.

But boy, oh boy, Barry, they look tough.

Right.

But he was really good in that game as well.

As I said, it was the first game at home for Mason Zabeski and Parker Von Richter.

I actually ran into Mason Zabeski in the hallway and nothing but nice things to say.

You know, they're pieces that, you know, we looked at what Cash did for us last year.

And, you know, we brought in Parker Von Richter and Passmore and the group that we had, you know, how much ice time they logged and everything.

You know, that's what we believe these guys can do down the road for us.

And, you know, we've got to develop them properly and look after them and kind of, you know, I always call their first year in the league survival.

So, you know, I think we've got three guys that are extremely happy to be Colts.

And, you know, I think it's going to round out quite well for us.

You know, without giving away too many of Marty's secrets, even, you know, you look at some of the guys he brought in last year, you know, Parker Von Richter, undrafted to the NHL, Mason Zabeski, overager, undrafted, and then Ben Wilmot, a first-year player in the OHL, undrafted.

You know, two of those three guys get drafted and they're third-year eligible, and the overager ends up playing on our first line.
