Parikshit

Can you give us a kind of a nutshell summary of this chapter? What is it all about?

You know, Pariksit has got seven days.

That's a long time.

He wants to fill his mind with the thoughts of Bhagavan.

And he's not going to eat because then that means you might have to get up and whatever and take care of your body.

So he doesn't want any interference in the focus of his mind.

So he starts, actually, in the end of the 19th chapter, when he first sits down, and the sages accumulate around him, because it's an event, you know, it's King Pariksha, it's the nephew of Krishna, this is huge.

And he begins by asking them, what is the dharma of someone about to die? Because that's his frame of reference, he's a king, so he's not a yogi.

And it is told here, So, it is only rush and rush.
