I am gonna start vaccinating for Johne's, I think mainly, um, because I wanna be selling stock that's vaccinated for Johne's.

It's a one-off job, isn't it? And I can then be selling stuff that I'm confident is protected because I think, well, you guys will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we're pretty confident that more than two thirds of flocks have got it, and therefore, if I'm sending sheep out into the world, I would quite like to know they're protected.

So we will start doing that.

Colostrum supplements have advantages, including uniform in quality compared to variation in transition milk and colostrum.

They are also a way to avoid disease risk, such as Johne's and Mycoplasma, found in transition milk and colostrum that is not pasteurized.

These products are also convenient and available without delays due to needing to milk the dam.

The challenge is the price of commercial colostrum supplements.
