Jorge AlborGUEST
...
Jorge AlborGUEST
Parasite Eve 2 and 3.
Eddie InzautoHOST
Yeah.
Eddie InzautoHOST
Well, wow.
Eddie InzautoHOST
Parasite Eve came out in 1998, which was three to four years into the PlayStation's life.
Jorge AlborGUEST
Mm-hmm.
Eddie InzautoHOST
A year after Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy Tactics, same year as Xenogears, year before Final Fantasy VIII, Saga Frontier, Legend of Mana, and Parasite Eve 2.
Eddie InzautoHOST
So this was, like, all the Square games right there-
Mike MinottiHOST
So I really want to do Code Veronica, and I will at some point here.
Mike MinottiHOST
And I have things like Dino Crisis and Parasite Eve 2 on the back burner there as well.
Mike MinottiHOST
But I don't think it's happening quite this year.
Mike MinottiHOST
Next, or at least this October anyways.
JustinHOST
Yeah.
NathanHOST
Yeah, I mean, it makes me so sad that Parasite Eve 2, they had to do the tank controls because it's like that's the only reason I've never finished the second game is because of the tank controls.
NathanHOST
And I mean, one of these days I do, I probably will try to go back to it and just learn how to deal with it because it's like I do want to play through the second one because I'm sure that otherwise it's a good game.
NathanHOST
It's just, it was such a departure from what they did with the first game and the first game was really good and I played through the first game two or three times and like i i really enjoyed that game back in the day yeah
Vinny OHOST
Mm-hmm
Lotus of DoomHOST
... and I am currently on the quest to get Parasite Eve 2 because I would like to play that.
Lotus of DoomHOST
Um, but it is, uh, basically $200 everywhere on eBay it seems like, which hurts.
Vinny OHOST
I've also only played 1 and love it.
TroyHOST
And I cannot tell you what had me go down this rabbit hole.
TroyHOST
I think I was looking for, if you guys remember a video game, Parasite Eve and Parasite Eve 2.
TroyHOST
I have a copy of the film Parasite Eve on video CD.
TroyHOST
Do you really? Yes.
TylerHOST
[laughs]
StoyHOST
Uh, he, uh, was, he directed and was the lead writer for Parasite Eve 2.
StoyHOST
It's a really good, uh, good underrated series.
BradHOST
Very cool.
