Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen

I mean, I wanted to find the next EverQuest.

Actually, Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, I think.

[laughs] Was that what it was called? Pantheon was one I was following for years.

For anybody who doesn't know, that was actually the game that Brad McQuaid, who was the original designer of EverQuest, he had gone off and tried to make a couple of the ga- couple of other games over the years.

He had released Vanguard Saga of Heroes, which I did spend some time playing back when it came out.

That shut down not too long...

I mean, what was it? Maybe a couple years it stuck around, if that, before that was shut down.

And then he moved on, and Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, I f- I f- I can't remember if that is the right name or not, but Pantheon was his next game, and it was touted as being the successor to EverQuest, the spiritual successor, and there was a ton of hype around this game, and Brad McQuaid was focused on delivering his singular vision.
