Um, yeah, I think with Spectrum, um, that's Pete Kemba's project and Pete Kemba's Sonic Boom as well, who just did actually a record with Panda Bear.

Um, but, um, You know, he was in a band called Spaceman 3, you know, famously broke up with his bandmate and, you know, the other guy formed a project, a seminal project called Spiritualized.

I'm your host Nathan Jolly, and my guests today are Sonic Boom and Panda Bear.

That is Pete Kember and Noah Lennox.

They're from the bands Spacemen 3 and Animal Collective, and they've also recorded two collaborative albums together under the name Panda Bear and Sonic Boom.

The second of those albums, A Question of When, is out now on vinyl, CD, cassette, or digital download.

You cannot, however, stream it, which we get into later.

Uh, I just sorta make stuff, and sometimes if, um, a song doesn't find a home on something I'm doing, uh, I'll bring it to the, the group, and we'll kinda see what happens.

There's been other songs that for the, the past couple AC records that I brought in as sort of a possible thing to do, and it didn't find its way, and I, I wound up kind of redoing it for my own thing.

Even though it's not one of the most drastically re-imagined tracks on this album, the fact that it exists is fricking cool.

Okay, this one I'm excited to talk about is the Panda Bear version of Magic Man.

Magic Man is actually my least favorite track on Never Enough.

I always skip it.

I was really curious as to whether a reimagined version of this would make me like this song even more.

or if I would like the re-imagined version better.

And Panda Bear actually made me enjoy this track a lot.

I really liked his version of it.
