Pancreatic cancer is the eighth most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia.

It occurs when malignant cells develop in parts of the pancreas, and it's estimated that one in 70 people will be diagnosed with the disease by the age of 85. according to the Cancer Council.

Amelia Parker says it's also one of the most understudied and complex cancers to treat.

I mean, there's not loads of deaths, but there have been deaths.

Pancreatic has been a big one.

So we've got to be really careful on how we're labeling them.
