Panamint Springs

So you get to the bottom of the hill, and then you have to cross Panamint Valley.

So the, the Panamint Springs aid station is on the opposite side of, of the valley s- which is mile 72.

So y- you talked a little bit about, you know, h- the heat.

But fr- from my perspective, we got there so early, it was quite pleasant.

Like, everyone should run Badwater, [laughs] uh, much faster.

[laughs] It's way better to avoid the heat of Panamint Springs.

Yeah, I feel like we got to Panamint somewhere around, like, 7:00 or 8:00 AM, and it really, like you said, I mean, like, normally that's where it's, like, 120.

I think it was, like, in the high 90s, maybe just around 100, which still is really hot, but, like, for that area, it kind of feels mild, you know? So I, I remember that not feeling too bad.

Mile 45, I'm ahead of schedule.

I'm going up Town's Pass to go down, and then as I go down past Town's P- Town's Pass and I go into, um, uh, Panamint, I think it's called down there, Panamint Springs, I'm getting burns on my legs, and I, I...

Like, this, I'm thinking it's sunburn.

But then I realize it's only burnt from my knees down.
