It raises questions about aggressive charging tactics and rushed investigations by prosecutors under pressure to show the Trump administration is cracking down on people who assault law enforcement.

Then Attorney General Pam Bondi said at the time, those who interfere with federal law enforcement would face severe consequences.

They're throwing bricks.

Uh, while we're in our wonderful state this morning, I will be joined in the studio by a very good friend of the show and a man who I consider a dear friend of mine these days as, as well.

Alex Rivkin, the co-chief executive of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, who has co-authored the book Bondi Terror with Sharry Markson.

Uh, I haven't been able to put it down because it explains what happened on that ill-fated night on December fourteen, what led up to the massacre, the stories of some of the heroes that put their own lives on the line to save others, and most importantly, what needs to be done now to prevent any more attacks on the Jewish community.

There's no doubt the attack could have been prevented.

At the same time, Alex and Sharry's book honors the memory of the fifteen innocent people who lost their lives at the Hanukkah festival, including ten-year-old Matilda.

Um, I, I've made no secret of my disgust, um, you know, just on this issue when it comes to certain organizations, namely the Human Rights Organization and the Commission, who have largely remained silent throughout the antisemitism crisis.

They do the investigative work, and they turn their indictments in or whatever, you know, they have to the Department of Justice.

And the problem is in the raw deal that Jim Jordan has got and, and James Comer has got, is that they turn indictments into, uh, Pam Bondi who, as we know, was complicit cor...

I don't know what she was, and Merrick Garland.

So it's like, you know, what the heck are we supposed to do if the federal government doesn't want to, uh, abide by the Constitution, the federal government doesn't wanna prosecute crimes? What are we supposed to do? So I get what you're saying, and I get, you know, that's what it looks like on its face, but I truly do believe that they wanna fight crime, and the, uh, federal government doesn't allow them to.

But there are new Democrats who are morally serious that carry none of the stench of those defeats that may be the answer to the problem because even after all this time, and even though MAGA will be wiped out in this election, both parties are as equally unpopular, and that's incredible.

When you think about the damage these people have done, Trump, Hegseth, Kennedy, Pirro, Bondi, Noem, Miller, Bovino, Homan, it is a disgrace without measure, and Jon Ossoff understands that.

It's just we're in such a bad situation right now, and I want to address the other thing that, that Paul said here i- in the Substack article, is that you only get fired when you become enough of a public embarrassment.

Like, Donald Trump didn't fire Pam Bondi, even though we were wrecking her for months and months and months on the Epstein files and so many other cover-ups and disasters on, on the DOJ front.

He got rid of her when she became an embarrassment to him.

When she had a very public breakdown at a hearing about the Epstein files that she mishandled, that was when she was told to go.

People like my dad, three-time Trump voters, think he's a buffoon.

You're not gonna win if you don't get a vote from a guy like my dad.

He just doesn't understand that, and it, and it's, and it's gross, and, and, and he deserves the very public embarrassment that's coming for him, and I hope that Donald Trump gives him the stanky boot, he gives him the firing in the most embarrassing way possible instead of some, like, proper exit, because he doesn't deserve that, right? He deserves the same thing we saw with Pam Bondi and Kristi Noem.

I felt like they got kind of embarrassing run out of the o- out of the administration.

See, I'm reminded of like the way Trump operates.

Pam Bondi, she came in, she had a scope of work, she did it and she left.

And now Blanche has taken over.

That's just how Trump operates.

A whole, more than a year have they been asking to meet with the DOJ.

They tried to meet with his successor, Pam Bondi.

She blew them off.

And so in a sort of pro forma check the box kind of way, he met with them finally, but they left that meeting with, feeling worse, feeling he was condescending, he was arrogant.
