Scott HudsonHOST
The track that was originally recorded by Joey Ramone.
Scott HudsonHOST
And apparently this song entered Palmyra's repertoire several years ago during preparations for one of the annual celebrations honoring Joy Ramone's birthday.
Scott HudsonHOST
Very cool.

In my house Spirit
Brett VargoHOST
You just heard Palmyra Delran and the Doppelgangs garaged up cover of Joey Ramone's Spirit in My House out now from Wicked Cool Records.
Brett VargoHOST
Palmyra and her band were recently invited to perform in an annual Joey Ramone birthday celebration, and she dug deep into Joey's solo catalog rather than to stick with a familiar Ramones classic.
Brett VargoHOST

Brett VargoHOST
That was better than anything I could have done.
Brett VargoHOST

Brett VargoHOST

That was power pop singer-songwriter Gary Calamar doing She's So Mid-Century.
RobHOST
Originally released back in 2014 and co-written by garage rockers Palmyra Delran and Kim Lenz, that is from Calamar's new album, which is really his storybook of songs covering his entire career.
RobHOST
Also, though, it includes a few new tracks, one featuring Devo main man Mark Mothersbaugh.
RobHOST
If you dig Power Pop, you will dig Gary Calamar's odd numbers and slanted rhymes, just out from Big Stir Records.
