Palm Bay

I was shared by my son, who's in law enforcement, a Facebook post from a coworker of, of Morris's, and it, it goes to show you the impact you don't know that you have when you do what we do here for a living.

Um, Kevin Morris had retired from Palm Bay PD, went on to the Brevard Sheriff's Office several years later, and this person was his first field training officer at the sheriff's office, Aaron Charles.

And he talked about the relationship they had and, and the training.

While he had to show him how Brevard d- uh, the county did these things as opposed to how Palm Bay may have done them a little differently, because agency procedures vary.

He talked about the shared knowledge and what they learned from each other along the way, and, and that's huge, and that relationship is important.

He went on talking about 12-hour shifts that they spent together, turmoil, heartache, victory, doing it all over again.

Of course, we've always been broader than local once the iHeartRadio app came into play at WMMB.

But if you share things there at billmick.com and let folks know we're here, we're going to grow this audience and we're going to maintain that relationship and we're going to stay close and we're going to talk the things that are important to us.

Let's go to Gary in Palm Bay.

Good morning, Gary.

How can I help?

Now, when you go further down, like Clearwater, they're showing yellow.

And when you're on Orlando proper, Palm Bay and those points south, Miami, for instance, that's all green.

Moving further up, as you move up from Florida into South Carolina, the red continues.

And those red warnings are all along the Atlantic coast.

They would be able to give at least a description of this person.

Now, you'd think that this would be like searching for a needle in a haystack, but the Palm Bay sheriffs were actually able to narrow down both of these shops quite quickly.

They contacted lots of different costume shops in the area to see if any of them had any records of recent sales of clown costumes, and one did.

A very recent transaction, actually.

A young boy's unusual death at his school is under investigation.

The family of an elementary school student is demanding answers after a video display fell on him at his Palm Bay, Florida, school, killing him.

School staff said to have immediately called 911 and begun emergency lifesaving measures before he was taken to a regional medical center where he later died.

The victim identified by his family as five-year-old Bellamy Dawkins Morris, who had autism.

A local report says that according to Bellamy's family, his mother was told he was moving the display board back and forth before it tipped over and fell on him.

The Palm Bay Police Department is investigating.

Let me go to, to the phone lines.

Alan is in Palm Beach, f- uh, Palm Bay, Florida.

Alan, what's going on? Hi.

How you doing, Joe? Um, yeah, I was, I was watching all the testimony from, uh, uh, Comey i- in the, uh, Congress, the congressional hearings, and I think he finally admitted there was like six or seven, um, uh, FBI informants, uh, inside the Capitol at the time.
