And Eisenhower... despised the Nazis, and he did not want them to see another dawn.

So he told his men at the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg that he wanted the hangings to take place right after midnight so that all of the 10 convicted Nazis would be hung before they could see another dawn.

There was one woman involved, wasn't there?

Well, only there were women who were hanged, not at Nuremberg.

As we said, watched closely, cell doors stationed.

And then finally, on the 20th of November in 1945, their surviving defendants were brought into courtroom 600 of the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg.

These photographs are astounding.

So it is an enormous room.
