I would've, I would've loved the Rowan and TDK thing to have worked in the same way that when Rowan and Paddy Ryder were working together, it was really, they complimented each other really nicely.

So, uh, the Bombers, this is how it worked out.

They, they traded Patrick Ryder, who went to Port Adelaide, and pick 37 to the Dogs.

Adam Cooney is what they received.

... part of that premiership team.

And Port Adelaide, pick 17 and pick 37 to Essendon, and they received Patrick Ryder from the Bombers, and that's a, a bargain deal in different ways for Bargain Car Rentals.

Well, I think everyone, I think everyone, like, you know, Patty Ryder, good player.

And that's the other thing is this narrative that, well, you obviously don't value him because you brought in TDK.

Our best team that we've had in the last five or six years was when we had Paddy Ryder and Ron Marshall rucking together.

That was our point of difference is we had a tap ruckman and we had an around-the-ground ruckman.

And so that's what we were trying to go for.

So not all those are fantasy relevant, but let's get stuck into Rowan Marshall because one of the best players in the game.

for a number of years as the solo ruck once we got rid of Paddy Ryder at St Kilda he took control of that ruck division and was incredible for a couple of years and then TDK comes to town and it severely hampers his ability to score at that really high level that we've come to expect from Marshall over the years and Essentially, as a solo ruck, he's sort of a 110 to 115 scorer.

And when he was given the opportunity to play a solo ruck and didn't have that back injury, he was awesome again this year.

TDK has always been a bit injury prone, so there are a couple of chances for Rowan to be a solo ruck, but not too often.

That's where he started off his junior football, and he's not a bad forward either.

So, um, the way I was looking at it was that they were gonna do something along the lines of Marshall and Paddy Ryder.

When those two played together, that was the last time St. Kilda actually won a final.
