and i won't i won't doubt you no we will be looking for the recount of no one 100 that's uh that's brilliant yeah and i suppose it's a nice little segue there to you know talk about maybe when the club was founded and the

pathway and i suppose to to start off the club colors and because it's a it's an audio and a visual i wore the colors so this sweatshirt Our rugby shirt is the taller colour, so it's maroon and white, and we've been that from day one.

So the club is really officially going since 1972.

We did have a spell back in 1927, as I said, when my father played a bit, and the club lasted that time from 1927 to 1933. and it lapsed at that time and it was noted by somebody who was writing a history of the club lately that it's interesting how some of the names are the very same on the team sheets back in 1929 to this day including my own family name and Dawson's and Roach's and different names but anyway the club didn't last at that time and refounded in 1972.

So we're calling 72 really the official founding date of the club now and back in 2022 we had an official 50-year launch of the club and that coincided with an opening of our new 3G pitch, which I'll come back to in a few moments when we talk about the facilities.

But yeah, so that was I suppose 1972 where it really took off.

and we were nomads for a good while and local farmers very obliging and so we moved around a fair bit depending on where land was available and I suppose 1980 and during those times our headquarters was the Tower of Arms in Tullow which is quite a well-known pub and certainly was during those days because we that's where we had our dressing rooms our changing rooms and our food etc and hosted our visitors so and I remember back in the day when John and Jeanette Levy were the owners and there was great fun in there and subsequently Bernard and Bernie Byrne.
