I thought that I would talk a little bit about koans, if you wanted to hear about koans.

Um, I've done a lot of koan study and most recently I've studied with a teacher from the Pacific Zen Institute, uh, John Tarrant teacher.

Maybe I should back up.

I first came to Zen in 1978 or 77.
