Now, I think they have a better shot with Eshelman than they did with Kaden Penick because Mike McIntyre has a full set of, of, uh, tape to look at wh- when it came to Penick.

But this will be the next pass that Owen Eshelman throws will be his first college pass.

Uh, so I think there is a bit of an X factor, and of course, there's a motivational factor with, uh, Trent Bray as the defensive coordinator.

I'm not expecting you to break down what Eshelman's strengths are, but the, uh, listening to the Cougar people and even talking to Jamarcus Shepherd yesterday, since he hasn't thrown a collegiate pass, Jimmy, you gotta go to some high school film.

So now this week, he's decided to make the change.

So they're starting a freshman, Owen Eshelman.

I don't know if that's going to be what turns this offense around.

I mean, why didn't he win the job in fall camp? Why didn't he win the job two weeks ago when they were trying to figure out who to start against Utah State? So I don't know.

Yeah.

I don't want to lay 10.5 with my favorite team because this is the type of game where they can shit the bed.

They found this freshman running back and his name escapes me because he's literally played one game.

He's been really good.

It always does, right? And that's where you've seen a quarterback change for Washington.

Offensive line, watched back six players that had starts from last year.

I've been benched.

Like, I know what it's like, right? And so, you know, I think it's important that young players, you know, learn from these things, but also get the help and get the support of those around them.

Alex, what can you tell us about Owen Eshelman as a recruit, his skill set, what you've observed in the game playing time he has had?

He's had very little playing time.
