So we've just ticked over that hour.

I saw the mention of Owen Dale earlier as well.
M

I still think he would have been good to have back.

But yeah, that was possibly...

[laughs] To quote Beaumont for the BBC, "Owen was on the phone to the manager and his agent while I was in labor.
J

They waited for me to give birth, and then he went out on loan pretty much as soon as I was out of hospital." Owen Dale's loan deal wasn't to a local club, but to Portsmouth, a city more than 200 miles away.

His partner, Jessica Beaumont, had never even been there, and the pair had only just gotten the keys to a house they had bought.

They would end up staying in it for just one night.

We can't live that way because we have to prepare for life after football.' Adding to the uncertainty of where they will be playing is also the possibility of relegation or injury.
J
74:53Jordan TheresaHOST
'When we were at Portsmouth, Blackpool was still his parent club, and they got relegated,' says Jessica.

'Owen wasn't even involved that season, but his wage was still affected.

They had a couple of nice moves involving mainly O'Brien-Whitmarsh in midfield.
G
20:40George ElekHOST
Owen Dale was probably their liveliest player and had a couple of shots from range, but they just look far too blunt in attack.
G
20:47George ElekHOST
To have only five touches inside the opposition box when you're 2-0 down is borderline criminal, if you ask me.

Couple of things from us.

Like Owen Dale was an example of it.
N

At least he tried to take a risk and looked like he wanted to impact the game.

He didn't look passive.

But as long as we're being competitive and we're starting to create chances and we start to see improvements every week, then I think that's good, isn't it?
N
30:30NeilHOST
I was just going to say sorry Danny one of the biggest differences was when Owen Dale came on I know he wasn't on for long but he instantly A wanted the ball and wanted it at his feet to run at them which made such a difference the only other player that did that a little bit really was probably o'brien whitmarsh in the first half a little bit and that wasn't he was really good he was he was excellent and wasn't necessarily running at them in the same way and it was sort of getting himself out of trouble and driving forward which was equally as effective um but i think that little cameo from dale is what what we need um Because you're right, Harvey Saunders was out wide a lot, especially in the first half.
N
31:16NeilHOST
But even then, he's sort of relying on a diagonal cross-field ball.
N
31:20NeilHOST
The defender's probably going to get back and at least challenge for the header.
C

And I really like, really, really like the look of him.

When Owen Dale was injured, he was like, oh, we'll stick him out the wide left because, you know, he isn't naturally in that role.
G
48:35GavinPANELIST
He's got to play in that little pocket.
G

Is he not just exactly the same as Owen Dale? Are they not of a similar ability and everybody was hell-bent on they didn't want Dale back? But I don't think Sorinola personally is any better than Owen Dale.

with those two goals and a certain Owen Dale who's not flourished since that performance but yeah that was crazy being 2-0 down and winning 3-2 I think since then we've won three of those four games I think I might have got that wrong but I don't know.
