So if you've got a deep overbite, um, vertically, and, and, you know, there is a difference.

And, and some people think that overbite and overjet are maybe the same thing, but overjet is the horizontal component of overbite.

Overbite is actually the vertical component of overbite.

So when you have a deep overbite vertically, that's when you see those upper anterior teeth retrocline, and they start to have that contact with the lower anteriors, where you get that sliding wear.

And this, it ends up being a major problem for a lot of adults.
