EthanHOST
1:25
I know that you were a big fan of Over the Hedge, or at least the movie that it gave us.
EthanHOST
1:31
Yes.
EthanHOST
1:32
And...
MikeHOST
2:34
This is charming.
MikeHOST
2:34
People love it.
MikeHOST
2:37
um speaking of michael fry um i will say i feel like um i remember reading when i was short when i was a kid and actually really kind of enjoying that there was some charm to that one it was kind of like the wonder years but funny and um over the hedge the comic strip is acceptable i think though the movie is a vast improvement um on what's a you know in some ways a rather pedestrian comic.
MikeHOST
3:07
And I do not remember anything about the comic strip committed, except that it existed.
Jeff ArcuriGUEST
51:09
My instincts are saying something else.
Jeff ArcuriGUEST
51:12
I want to go Oppenheimer, but I think I'm going to say Over the Hedge.
Doug BensonHOST
51:20
This doesn't happen very often.
Doug BensonHOST
51:23
But he did match one word.
JordanHOST
56:44
We're only halfway.
TrentHOST
56:47
Jordan, you're still talking like the guy in Over the Hedge when he drinks the energy drink.
TrentHOST
56:51
I don't know if there was something you did.
TrentHOST
56:54
I don't know if you have like a... a chat open on the side or something or a, but I'm doing,
Tony CoganGUEST
37:50
Yeah
Jay CluettHOST
37:50
... uh, porcupine child in Over the Hedge? [laughs]
Tony CoganGUEST
37:52
Yeah, I, I recognize her from a role in the Black Mirror.
Mark HoffmeyerHOST
37:56
Oh.
Henry WilkinsonHOST
12:16
driving me crazy.
Henry WilkinsonHOST
12:18
Over the Hedge.
Andrew MoslerHOST
12:21
Open season.
Henry WilkinsonHOST
12:22
Yeah.
HelenaHOST
67:12
I haven't seen hedge to hedge.
HelenaHOST
67:14
Yeah, over the hedge.
HelenaHOST
67:17
I have forgotten every film I've ever seen.
HelenaHOST
67:19
Yeah, no,
Jake NevilleGUEST
28:01
You could have picked something different.
Jake NevilleGUEST
28:04
Like Over the Hedge.
speaker_0HOST
28:05
It's like in Wall-E. It's made by Disney.
speaker_0HOST
28:07
They have every Disney movie.
TheiaHOST
18:24
But the animals do display human-like characteristics.
ProteusGUEST
18:29
Which is why I guess the human life of pets are, I'm sorry, Over the Hedge.
ProteusGUEST
18:34
Is that also an elimination?
TheiaHOST
18:35
Dreamworks.
ProteusGUEST
18:36
Dreamworks.
ProteusGUEST
18:37
But Over the Hedge is very good.
ProteusGUEST
18:38
It is.
ProteusGUEST
18:39
And it would also fit into this theme.
Gina ScarpaGUEST
62:43
Wait, no, I want to answer this.
Marc ScottHOST
62:46
Have you guys seen the movie Over the Hedge? Do you remember the movie Over the Hedge? Oh
Gina ScarpaGUEST
62:49
my God, you know, yes.
Marc ScottHOST
62:50
Hammy? Do you remember Hammy?
Gina ScarpaGUEST
62:54
Share your screen right now, you troll.
Gina ScarpaGUEST
62:56
The only
Marc ScottHOST
62:56
reason why I could bring this reference up is because I literally watched that movie with the boo like two weeks ago.
Marc ScottHOST
63:00
I introduced her to Over the Hedge and now she's obsessed with it.
HaydenHOST
29:57
One of the funniest things about this movie, though, is that outwardly it seems fine and seems like completely like, again, it's very much just a DreamWorks style movie.
HaydenHOST
30:07
This is something that you'd see this or Over the Hedge in a summer.
HaydenHOST
30:12
And both of them are equally, you know, fairly forgettable.
HaydenHOST
30:15
This doesn't have the stacked voice cast and we'll get to that.
