Outlandos d'Amour

75 today, isn't that crazy? I mean, police were out, police broke out in the late 70s.

Outlandos d'Amour, Zenyatta Mondatta, love those police album titles.

They broke up like 84, and then Sting ventures off into the solo career.

This is Fields of Gold, one of my favorite solo Sting tracks.

He wrote the most beautiful, profound songs, and I've chosen one of them to describe the deep experience of human loneliness, and it's called "I Am, I Said." From 1971, it was a single.

Uh, sorry, The Police song was from Outlandos d'Amour from 1978, but this is from 1971.

And that lovely opening line, "L.A.'s fine, but the sun shines most of the time.

The feeling is laid back." Blah, blah, blah, blah.
