Outer Range

Ron Livingston, I think.

Brolin admitted that the heartbreaking cancellation of his Amazon series Outer Range may have influenced his decision, although he isn't certain the two were directly connected.

Maybe it was too close, he said, reflecting on the disappointment of losing a show he deeply loved.

Despite passing on Lanterns, Brolin expressed support for the cast, saying he hopes the series succeeds.

Rawls also criticized Amazon's decision to cancel Outer Range, pointing to the success of former cast members Tom Pelfrey, Lewis Pullman, and Imogen Poots as evidence of the show's potential.

He described their subsequent careers as a great middle finger to those who canceled the series, added, "...you had gold." While Brolin didn't explicitly say that the cancellation was the reason he rejected Lanterns, he acknowledged that the timing may have played a role in his reluctance to commit to another major television project.

Wow.

And, um, he was in Ozark.

Uh, he's in Outer Range, um, Love and Death.

He, he's done quite a few TV, quite high-profile TV gigs.

Um, but in Ozark he is just unbelievable.

Yeah.

If you watch a contemporary Western today, whether it's Yellowstone or Outer Range, Will Patton is likely bringing his specific gravity to the screen.

He's always there.

He is.
