a shelf life to me like the stuff that like if you find a record from the 90s that you never heard before it sounds just as fresh today as it as if it was a brand new record and you know I think that cut was because back then everybody was trying to be original everybody's trying to put their own stamp on things and now I think a lot of a lot of rappers do just sort of you know try to get with the trend and get with whatever is the the sound that they hear on the radio and I would just say like hey try to find your own style You know, stand on the shoulders of the people who came before you, learn the things that they did.
