No, very cool.

I mean, there are a lot of cool references, not necessarily that speak to us being the same age, but when Clark wants to adopt the dog and he's thinking of different names and he thinks of Bark Kent, right out of Super Pup, that failed pilot from the late 50s that was essentially like- And then obviously in the first episode when we're meeting Bizarro, the scientist who was working with him, Otto Binder, a nice nod to the comic book creator.

So yeah, there were some nice nods throughout, which was really cool.

But yeah, I really did appreciate where Jimmy was coming from in terms of why he wasn't pursuing that romance with Kara.
