I just sang Giulio Cesare in Czech Republic in the National Opera of Moravia in Ostrava.

I have to say that I enjoyed the Cesare.

During the rehearsals, I felt, oh, this is amazing.

After losing 2-1 to Hradec Kralovej on Sunday, Sparta Prague have now suffered back-to-back defeats, four in seven rounds, and find themselves in a worrying spot in the table.

With just nine points, they're already eight behind leader Slavia and level on points with Ostrava, who sit just above the relegation zone.

It could be a long season ahead for the Czech Republic's historically most successful club.

Yeah, I think if we look from, uh, her first outdoor race in Ostrava, uh, to, uh, Lausanne or Zurich, we can already see some changes.

We are working on, uh, higher frequency.

You know, I was born April 7, 1954, in village of Petrovice u Karvine, County of Karvina.

Now, you are 14 years old when Czechoslovakia is invaded by the Warsaw Pact.

What do you remember of that time?

I remember that extremely well because we live, you know, Ostrava is, like, uh, 20 kilometers the airport, and from Poland they come the big Antonov, those transportation planes, when the, the, the Soviet Union and, and, and the Eu- the, the Pact invade us, you know.

Uh, so, so those planes were flying, I'm guessing 200, 300, 400 meters above our house already, almost leve- ready to for landing.
