14:49
Sure.
14:49
I wasn't aware of the term until I actually started writing the book.
14:53
Like, in reality, I started [laughs] writing a different book before I landed into what I'm writing a- about right now.
14:59
But yeah, so there is a, a, a, a long tradition of, uh... or, or not so long, but there is a tradition on longevity being understood as a, a series of hacks.
15:08
You know, biohacking is a big word.
15:10
I prefer bio optimization if, you know, [laughs] if, if, if anything.
15:14
But it's not that the, the, the tips or the hacks are, are, are wrong, it's that it's where they belong, uh, in our organization a- as, as, as individuals, right? They, these things are generally treated downstream, not really upstream in how we, we behave.

11 MINS LATER

26:20
Since you started looking into this area in some detail, is it possible to categorize for me the most significant changes that you've made to your life, that you've felt the biggest impact from?
4:56
Yes.
4:56
Uh, so tho- those are the, the, the things that, again, to, to your point about not, not making it into a project, right? So there are things that happen naturally, but it's more about doing it with, with intention, right? So if we are now, uh, going for a walk more often because the weather is nice, it's thinking about what is the, the, the minimum viable, uh, rhythm that I can copy and bring into the fall.
5:17
Uh, walking, uh, maybe not in the, in the middle of a, a blizzard would be, would be nice.
5:26
Right.
5:26
The problem is when we immediately stop doing those practices after vacation or after, uh, the summer, uh, and we just completely lose that, that habit.
5:35
So it's about doing these things not as a project, but intentionally so that we remember what's the minimum viable thing that we can do, uh, upon return.
