Orthodontists really should be placing TADs, and I went to Ormco and told them I wanted to come up with a daemon-headed TAD and be able to use that for, you know, all sorts of different indications, not just open bites.

So my specialty is endodontics.

Orthodontists went to school for two extra years concentrating in orthodontics.

Most residencies are two or three years.

Oral surgeons do four or six years if they do an MD.

Yep.

Because again, if we're talking about you're, you're targeting chiropra- or, um, orthodontists, right?

Orthodontists, yep.

Mm-hmm.

Uh, I, I would think most orthodontists, like before they're gonna make the decision of, "All right, I'm gonna pay Dino 30 grand to consult with me over the next six months," they're probably not the sole decision-maker.

You know what I kinda think in some regards when it comes to occlusion is I think so many feel like it is this black box, and they need to spend thousands and thousands of dollars to try to understand occlusion.

But I think in some regards, part of the problem is that occlusion is oftentimes grossly overcomplicated and explained by maybe perhaps restorative dentists, and I don't think- Orthodontists maybe are doing enough to explain, be a part of, like, the occlusion discussion.

I think honestly, it just kinda starts with good orthodontists and having the teeth positioned where they should be.

And orthodontists use this, right?

Yeah.

Orthodontists measure this angle in degrees to analyze facial growth patterns, determining if a patient has a high angle or low angle bite

But if a maxillofacial surgeon tells you a patient has an angle fracture, they are not talking about that geometric corner
