Ornithomimus

[instrumental music] ABC Listen.

From Carcharodontosaurus to Concarvenator, Ornithomimus to Ophthalmia, welcome back to the greatest race of all time.

Welcome to the Dino Dome.

Welcome to the Dino Dome.

And finally, Boploticus, age 11 from Falls Village, Connecticut.

Ornithomimus versus Pachycephalosaurus in a field.

Nice.

Nice way to throw in an environment.

Well, Ornithomimus, speed-wise, is so far superior to Pachycephalosaurus that Pachy simply couldn't catch it.

It could run circles around Pachys.

But the downside is Ornithomimus really doesn't have much in the way of weaponry.

Now, it's got long hand claws, I'll tell you that.

It was a ornithomimidas, I think.

Ornithomimus.

Yeah, there we go.

That's the word I was looking for.

Like, if you just, you know, presented a bunch of ribs and a, you know, ch- leg bone or, you know, part of a hand or something, you have no shot knowing what they, which one it is, even knowing w-where it was from because the family's so spread out that you have four or five of them represented in the same place at the same time.

So i-it's virtually impossible to tell unless you have a head, and that is the only thing that tells them, that tells them apart.

The Ornithomimusaur, he's not on screen that much, so he doesn't really have a whole lot to really, you know, get into.

He looks furry and fuzzy, which is a very, very, very, um, prominent design.
