And you were just looking at your LinkedIn.

And so you joined Orion Publishing as editorial director in 2020 and then became publisher last year.

So five years.

Is that a kind of fairly typical time to go up the ranks or were you very quick?

So the publisher pr- pr- approached me and they said...

Uh, it was, uh, Orion Publishers.

They are the publishers who published Inverting the Pyramid, and they said, "It's been a long time since that book came out." It came out in 2008.

Uh, "We just want a, a next book in the sequence that can tell the story of what's happened in football tactics since then." Um, so yeah.

I mean, he does good world building.

And he actually started as an indie and self-published these and then got picked up by, I think it's Orion Books.

And they republished them.

They should be available wherever you shop.

Yeah, again, I was very lucky here because my now editor, Tom Noble, slid into my DMs about two years ago and said to me, have you ever thought about writing a book? To which I said, well, you know, yeah, go on, tell me a little bit more.

At which point he said, well, I work for Orion Publishers, who are the publishers of Inverting the Pyramid, Jonathan Wilson's History of Football Tactics.

Uh, and they decided 15 years later, or at least 15 years after that, that, um, the original version was published that they wanted to have a sort of follow-up volume, which covered the history of football tactics in the time since.

And so he said, if you're interested, let's let I'm in London tomorrow.
