My old mate Aaron Wright on the outrigger, which used to be the Seabreeze, the last charter boat I ran, he had a 37-pound mahi, which was a beautiful beautiful fish, and one white marlin.

Some of the other boats did a little better on sailfish and white marlin, about 50-50 split.

And that was a pretty darn good day for a half a day nearshore fishing.

So now, as always, we jump up to the Oregon Inlet Fleet, and their great bill fishing continues.

It's about equal mix now, white marlins and sailfish.

These are the two smaller varieties of billfish that we catch, and they average about six to seven feet long, anywhere from 35 to 100 pounds.
