This was the first publicity reported sighting of Bigfoot at Bluff Creek.

but I was told that Lawrence Omeg from Oreck had actually seen him earlier outside a shack by the road where he bunked at night.

He had left the job without, at the time, saying why.

know, they make an Oreck that's 8 pounds, but they wanted to make one that was almost as light but had attachments.

Had

a couple of attachments.

It has a building, it has staff, and it is, one way I've heard it described, it's kind of like the air traffic controller of the SBC.

When people give money to the SBC budget, what we call the cooperative program, the cooperative mission programs, it goes to the executive committee and then it's distributed.

Now the big bulk of that goes to our mission boards.

The International Mission Board is by far the biggest recipient of those funds and the biggest expense.

The Executive Committee is kind of like the convention when the convention is not meeting.

It is trying to run the traffic to make all the planes, you know, the planes are the big deal, but we need a guy making sure they get off and take you know, they land and they get all the resources they need.

So that's what the executive committee is.

But it becomes a very important meeting because it's kind of where the big issues affecting the Southern Baptist Convention do meet.
