Orbiter

And we're going to finish off with a song that's stuck in your head and why.

Noah Khan, Orbiter, is my song on repeat at the minute.

I cannot get over how beautiful the lyrics in that song are.

I just can't.

37, My Body Isn't Ready, Sombra.

36, Orbiter, Noah Khan.

35, Robot Killed the Working Man, Zach Bryant.

New entry.

And I took my daughter to his concert at Wrigley Field this summer just as she was getting ready to move to Paris to study.

And he writes a song about his mother called Orbiter.

And it's an image of her as the moon, and he's the astronaut circling her.

It's really just so cheesy, but it's so emotional.

But what is the last movie, book, or song that really made you think?

I really like that song Orbiter by Noah Kahn and it is a little played out now and everyone loves it and it's played everywhere.

But when it first came out, I'm a huge Noah Kahn fan and I want to be one of those that says like, oh, I liked it first, but I really did like it first.

And so I'm hearing this song Orbiter and I'm like, this song is so pretty.

What is this song about? Like, what's he talking about? And so then I'm like trying to figure out what the lyrics are about.

And then I like stumble across like this article, but they believe he's like writing about his mom.

Yeah.

Like, I keep referencing Noah Kahan's song Orbiter-

Yes

... which was made here, which was definitely not in any way planned or imagined as a hit song, you know?

Yeah.

And yeah.

Then I think we met at the Grammy's in person, um, which Orbiter's sort of written about.

But, a- and then-

You hear it all the time in The National, which is, like, so cool to have, to be able to kind of recognize things in a band you love that have go, come a- come across in your record.

But I listen to, like, a song like Orbiter, and there's, like, just a little, like-

Yeah

... a little, like, rattle sound that he does-

35, My Body Isn't Randy, Somber.

34, Orbiter, Noah Khan.

This is where Stella Lefty stole all her swag.

33, Rethink Some Things, Luke Combs.
