Operation Upshot–Knothole

His name was Arthur Stancil, and for years he was known publicly as Fritz Werner, a pseudonym given to him by the investigator Raymond Fowler.

Stancil was an engineer who worked the atomic test program in Nevada during Operation Upshot Knothole in 1973, 20 years after the fact.

He signed an affidavit for Fowler.

He said he was pulled onto a special assignment, flown out, driven to the site on a bus... with blacked out windows and put to work with a team of specialists who were instructed not to speak to each other.

He said he saw a UFO, or he also saw a UFO at an atomic test site in Nevada, which was part of Operation Upshot.
