Operation Trojan Horse

Uh, libraries have saved my life as a teenager, 100%.

And so w- that started me down the John Keel path, and I was able to get that and Operation Trojan Horse at that timeframe.

Nice.

Which is kind of enough to get the, the framework of his, um, kinda super being overarching fortean thought process.

But stuff that could line up with everything that we've talked about.

And you know, one of the things he mentioned was a Trojan horse, that he was wondering about a Trojan horse, and they were both talking about that, and neither of them mentioned Keel.

But literally Keel's book named Trojan Horse, right?

Yeah.

So, you know, that shows up.

He connected it with UFO encounters, apparitions, and even religious experiences, suggesting that apparently different phenomena might originate from a common hidden source.

In his earlier Operation Trojan Horse, Keel had described the phenomenon as primarily electromagnetic in nature.

He proposed that an intelligence could manipulate matter and appearances, presenting itself as machines or living beings.

The form encountered by a witness might conceal whatever was producing it.

I think that Hellier and Operation Trojan Horse by John Keel were the two grounding, uh, works for me when I was a experiencer who didn't know what... like, had no context for it, and I wasn't telling-

... anyone, where I went, "Oh my God, I'm not the only one," and, um, just felt so seen-

Um, I know, you know, now the dead spike is digital.

But, [lip smack] um, John Keel, who wrote Operation Trojan Horse, one of my heroes, um, who was, like probably many people in this room, was not someone who was particularly interested in this stuff, and he wrote The Mothman Prophecies.

He was just a journalist, um, who just wrote any kind of freelance magazine stuff.

He stumbled into this topic, and he, uh, had an idea to put out what was the equivalent of a, of a Google alert.

And so what we're looking at now are the i- It's the idea that the orb itself is the substrate, it's the medium to which these beings are projecting form.

Now, I would, I would appeal to John Keel and his book Operation Trojan Horse.

He talks about UFOs in the sky being something that is hiding another intelligence.

So the orb is like the vehicle of the apparition.

That, that they're performing the same thing some of ...

some psychics are, where they're projecting themselves out of their bodies.

In, in, in, in some esoteric circles, especially with Claude Lecouteux's book, Demons and Spirits of the Land, where sorcerers, practitioners were projecting their consciousness and, and, and creating alter egos where that consciousness had a form to it.
