Operation Ezra and Nehemiah

[laughs] More than 50% of the people came from the Middle East.

We- history clearly shows that with, uh, all the plane flights and the Operation Ezra, Operation Nehemiah, Operation Moses from Egypt.

Right? These were literal plane flights where God talks about, um, like wings like eagles and, um, before planes were ever invented.

[laughs] And we see them all coming in.

When Persia conquered Babylon, King Cyrus permitted exiled peoples to restore temples and communities.

Some Judeans returned to Jerusalem, rebuilt the temple, and reorganized public life under Ezra and Nehemiah.

Others remained in Babylonia, creating a recurring pattern, return and diaspora existing simultaneously.

No airport announced, all Jews proceed immediately to Gate Zion.

Some arrived through dramatic operations.

Operation Magic Carpet brought most of Yemen's Jewish community in nineteen forty-nine and nineteen fifty.

Operation Ezra and Nehemiah transported most Iraqi Jews in nineteen fifty-one and nineteen fifty-two after Iraq permitted emigration under conditions including lost citizenship and property.

Jews arrived from Morocco, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Poland, Romania, and elsewhere through combinations of Zionism, persecution, insecurity, economics, policy, and family choice.

In fact, in 36 hours, they did, they did over 160,000 Jewish people came in 36 hours in planes, um, in, in, in these rescue operations.

And we're gonna see there, they actually named like Nehemiah after, after the restoration, um, and, and Ezra and others.

You've already had the Nehemiah and Ezra coming back to build the temple, right? So this is the second time that he's saying he's going to do this from those eight places.

Um, and they, they, they, the, the organization to get the airplanes to come pick the Jews up and take them to Israel is also a massive operation.

It's actually called Operation Ezra and Nehemiah in the end.
