[dramatic music]So today I basically spent all day watching this first day of trial.

We got to-- I got to see opening statements.

I got to see some of the initial witnesses they put on, and I have thoughts, and we want to share our thoughts and then share some analysis.

And I think one thing, though, I do want to say before we get into it, Kevin, is that I think there's a little scene-setting just from the, some of the most high point issues in pretrial as far as this case goes.

So the judge doesn't wanna waste any time because the more time you waste on one case, the longer other people have to wait.

So the jury comes in, Judge Kite is very warm with them, greeting them, and talks about the preliminary instructions, and then notes that next up, she kind of outlines how the day's gonna go.
