Um, and as I'm getting to know her, um, you know, it's been, it's been really refreshing to hear some of the thoughts.

I wanna understand, like, you know, the whole, you know, uh, shift of open data and other things that you guys were, like, so instrumental in building.

Um, and kind of unpack your journey, your personal life, along with the professional career and what you're doing now, and wanna spend, like, the rest of two hours-

And, and also on the, um- On the metrics.

Really moving the metrics side to things, really important

So you, you are the, you, you're the pioneer, um, in a lot of things like open data, collaborative economy-

He will introduce his panelists on open data for resilience.

It's very well-known in this community.

Certainly, we want to give touch.

Sync up with Maggie about the upcoming State of the Map Conference, which Quincy mentioned it's one of the most important events in the open data industry.

Maggie is also the co-chair of the National Geospatial Advisory Council and is really key to a lot of the great open data efforts working with federal agencies.

It's a very, very active field.

And actually, we just came out with a review from the 2024 Docs Tool from Open Data to Insight.

And a lot of what gets discussed at these Docs Tool meetings is what do we need to do to basically gain insight from data to make the data usable and to really increase the value of the data.

And so we focused on improving public data sharing and making sure that people are aware of and adopting standards.

It's a very, very difficult, difficult job.

I want to just come back to something that you mentioned, which is open data and what you're seeing.

Yeah.

as current trends there in this year's report, you've pointed towards both open data and AI trainable data.

And just to understand what the difference is there and why that difference is important.

Okay, good question.

I think that some cities actually, you know, already start with the open data portal.

You know, I think that previously smart city was driven by this open data portal for each city.
