Opel Kadett

That's the perfect car for that trip.

But I'd also just bought, um, a 1962 Opel Kadett Caravan, which is basically...

Do you remember...

Yeah.

My buddy from high school, Jeanie, came with me, 'cause we, we drove across.

We drove two cars, my parents in one car, and then she and I drove, uh, the Opel Kadett, [laughs] which was a stick shift, you know? And so we drove to Seattle, s- and that car was gonna become my brother's car.

And I got an apartment just within walking distance of the campus, probably a, you know, all, took me about 20 minutes to get to my classes.

Or I most often rode a bike.
